מכתב מאת האדמו"ר רבי יוסף יצחק שניאורסון – הריי"ץ מליובאוויטש, חתום בחתימת יד קדשו. מאריענבאד (מרינבד), י"ג מנחם אב תרצ"א [1931].
מודפס במכונת כתיבה על נייר מכתבים רשמי של האדמו"ר הריי"ץ, חתום בחתימת יד קדשו "יוסף יצחק", ובתוספת מילה בכתב-ידו.
נשלח אל הרב מוהר"ר חיים, המכונה במכתב "ש"ב [שאר בשרי] הנכבד והנעלה גזע תרשישים". במכתבו מברך האדמו"ר: "השי"ת יחוס וירחם עליו וישלח לו ולבנו שי' רפו"ש [רפואה שלמה], ויזמין לו השי"ת פרנסתו בריוח שיוכל לישב באה"ק ת"ו [בארץ הקודש תבנה ותכונן] ולעסוק בתורה ועבודה כחפצו הטוב".
בסוף המכתב, לאחר ידידו ש"ב הדו"ש, הוסיף הרבי את המילה: "כערכו", בכתב-יד קדשו.
המכתב שלפנינו לא נדפס ב"אגרות קודש" של האדמו"ר הריי"ץ.
