Letter of Blessing and Guidance from the Lubavitcher Rebbe – 1952 – Selecting the Teaching Staff of Beit Rivkah in Kfar Chabad – "Blessing You with Success in Your Holy Work, Which Will Serve Also as a Pipe and Vessel to Draw and Receive G-d's Blessing in Private Matters"

Letter from Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneersohn – the Lubavitcher Rebbe, with his hand signature. Brooklyn NY, 19th Sivan 1952.
Typewritten on the official stationery of the rebbe, with his signature and the addition of several corrections in his handwriting.
Addressed to Mrs. Tamar Gluskin, a teacher in the Beit Rivkah primary school for girls in Kfar Chabad (see the letter of the Rayatz to her husband R. Naftali Gluskin, item no. 56).

In response to her letter regarding the growth and development of the institution and her offering the position of teaching assistant to the daughter of R. Shmuel Zalmanov (of Kursk; 1888-1956), the rebbe writes: "It would be worthwhile to make all efforts to seek out such girls as students, who can shortly thereafter serve as educators and counselors, at least for young boys and girls", and writes that he sent a letter to the management of the village: "regarding the urgency of finding a suitable location for Beit Rivka" (see: Igrot Kodesh of the rebbe, vol. VI, letter 1651).

At the end of his letter, the rebbe blesses Mrs. Gluskin: "Blessing you with success in your holy work, which will serve also as a pipe and vessel to draw and receive G-d's blessing in private matters".

Mrs. Tamar Ita Gluskin, wife of R. Naftali Gluskin and daughter of R. Shimon Moshe Diskin rabbi of Lachovitz. She was a close friend of Rebbetzin Chanah, mother of the Rebbe. In 1944-1945, when the Rebbetzin was a widow living in Alma-Ata, Tamar Ita devotedly stood by her side, despite the risk involved. The Rebbetzin wrote to her in one of her letters: "I well remember you care… at the time nobody dared to stand within my four cubits". She passed away in 1987.

Printed in Igrot Kodesh of the Lubavitcher Rebbe (vol. VI, letter 1645), with omissions.
