1860 ABRAHAM LINCOLN / HAMLIN CAMPAIGN TOKEN RUSTED
1860 presidential campaign button, usually containing two tintype portraits of Abraham Lincoln and Hannibal Hamlin. The token has scored edges and lists the candidates' names on the appropriate side with the year '1860'. There is a hole drilled near the top for hanging the button as a pendant. Lincoln's portrait usually appears on one side and is so labeled, backed by Hamlin's likeness and appellation.
This token's center ferrous section is completely corroded and the images are no longer visible. The brass details are still in nice condition. Priced accordingly.
