This document records the sale of 640 acres of Texas land to Henry Braschler for $60. An appendix is added by a Kansas notary in 1884, stating that H. M. DeCordova - Jacob’s son - attested that he had witnessed the sale. Henry Maxwell DeCordova (1839-1921) was the mayor of Garden City, Kansas. Details concerning the exploits of H. M. DeCordova (including his killing of a man), available upon request.
