(1802 - 1870) French novelist and playwright who penned the classics 'The Three Musketeers', 'The Count of Monte Cristo' and 'The Black Tulip'. Untranslated A.L.S. 'Alr. Dumas' in French, 1p. 5.25 x 8 in., [n.p., n.d., but postmarked November 13, 1855 in Paris]. Addressed on the reverse of the second integral page in Dumas’s own hand. In very good to fine condition, with a tape repair to second integral page.
