ADOLF HITLER PLAQUE
Bronze plaque, approx. 8.25 x 12.5 in., a right-profile, neck-up depiction of Adolf Hitler above the inscription 'Ich glaube an deutschland / und Kampfe dafur / heute and morgen und in der / Zukunft / bis unser der Sieg ist' ('I believe in Germany and fight for her today and tomorrow and in the future until victory is ours'). The reverse of the plaque shows two threads for mounting via screws, and the maker's mark 'C.K'. The artist's name 'W. WOLFF' and the year '38' appear at bottom. Shows a spurious amount of shine compared to similar examples, potentially a recast or refinished. Very good condition, sold as-is.
