WILLIAM "WILD BILL" GUARNERE
(1923 - 2014) Army soldier who fought in World War II as a non-commissioned officer with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, the 'Band of Brothers'. Good lot of four signed prints and photographs, each approx. 11 x 8.5 in., signed boldly on the front. Most depict American soldiers throughout World War II, yet the lot includes one signed photograph of Guarnere with the actor that played him in the HBO miniseries. Another noteworthy photograph, titled 'Full Victory - Nothing Else', depicts General Eisenhower speaking to American troops the day before D-Day. Guarnere signs at bottom in bold blue ink, adding the inscription 'Co. E 506 101st... Band of Brothers'. Overall fine condition.
