ADOLF GALLAND
(1911-1994) German fighter ace of World War II and general of fighters, awarded the Knights Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds. S.P., 3.5 x 5.75 in. b/w, a chest-up portrait of Galland in uniform on a post-war reprint of a Hoffmann postcard. Galland signs in black marker at bottom. Sold with a post-war letter from his secretary sending the photo, and transmittal. envelope. Fine.
