Very nice set of 2 photos taken privately by somebody who worked in the camp, a guard maybe, of the famous visit of Reichsführer SS Heinrich Himmler to KL Mauthausen in 1941. We can see Himmler walking through the camp surrounded by many othe high ranked SS officers that accompanied Himmler during the visit explaining him how camp worked. During this visit also personalities like Ernst Kaltenbrunner (the chief of the Gestapo in Vienna) were with RF-SS. Photos use Agfa Lupex paper.
