J. & E. Stevens Company Cromwell, CT - Circa 1892 Very Good Condition (10% of figure & 20% of bird catapult is restored) The Fowler is the rarest model from the subset of banks known as shooters. Perhaps there are 25 to 30 known specimens and very few of them retain the original bird as this one does. Whereas most of the shooter banks have relatively simple mechanisms, the engineering for the Fowler Bank is nothing short of astonishing. The marksman actually pivots on his heels to seemingly take aim and shot the bird. This is a superior example of the Fowler Bank.
