An oil on board landscape "The snow has melted" by Sergei Gerasimov. Signed at the lower right. Titled in Cyrillic on the reverse. Presented in a vintage gilded wooden frame. Sergei Vasilievich Gerasimov (1885 - 1964) - Soviet and Russian artist-painter, teacher. Doctor of Arts (1956). People's Artist of the USSR (1958). Lenin Prize Laureate (1966 - posthumously).
