Unique Features: Rare book, Vinograd Meissen lists 4 books by this author, but the book before us is not listed.
Background: Anti-semitic work in German, with some words and the name of the book on the title page and on the cover in Yiddish. The work was written in the form of a play, in broken German, with illustrations mocking Jews, and with an appalling picture of a Jewish family sitting around a table. The author called himself by a Jewish name, but is known to be the anti-Semite Heinrich Holzschuher [1796-1861].
Condition: Moderate. Aging stains. Minimal tears.
