Commentary on Megilas Rus by R. Yoel Sirkes/Bach
with autograph dedication by R. Yaakov Yosef Ginz.
R. Yaakov Yosef Ginz (1856-1925) was a
descendant of R. Akiva Eiger and one of the most
prominent students of the Ma’haram Schick. He
served as Chief Rabbi first in Tchabba and later in
Busarmin. He was exceptionally close to the Yetev
Lev of Siget who sent many students to study in the
Yeshiva of Rabbi Ginz. Father in law of R. Yissachar
Shlomo Teichtal of Pishtian, author of the Mishna
Sachir.
