Call for the residents of Jerusalem to withdraw their names from the lists of the National Council. On behalf of the 'Exodus' Committee of the Haredi Jewry. 1930s
The National Council was used by the Jewish Agency and the Zionism heads to run the Jewish life in the land of Israel-Palestine during the days of the Mandate in all relevant fields: housing, immigration, education and more. Agudat Yisrael and the Religious community opposed decisively to recognize and membership in the National Council, and after a lengthy struggle they succesfuly lead to a decision that every man and woman may notify their withdrawal from the National Council.
