The genius asks in every language of request that we should do what we can so that we do not stand on the blood of another, and that the Torah followers send a telegram to the consul, etc.
Hagaon Harav Moshe Feinstein (1895-1986) was regarded as the leading 20th century halachic authority in the United States. Harav Aharon Kotler once stated: “The halachah is [as he says] always. If the Posek Hador states that the halachah is such, then we are bound to heed his words.” On many occasions, venerable Rabbanim referred complex questions to Rav Moshe, expressing “Only Rav Moshe has shoulders broad enough to rule upon such issues.”
