Rabbi Aryeh Zvi Partzovitz, son-in-law of Rabbi Nachum Greenhaus, Av Beit Din of Trakai near Vilna, succeeded his father-in-law in the rabbinate in 1923. He was murdered in the Holocaust together with his family and members of his community, on Erev Yom Kippur 1941. His son, Rabbi Nachum Partzovitz (1923-1986), disciple of the Birkat Shmuel Yeshiva and of the Mir Yeshiva in Mir and in Shanghai, son-in-law of Rabbi Chaim Shmuelevitz.
