The renowned Gaon Rabbi Aharon Shmuel Assad [1830-1905] the son of Moron the mahari Assad, succeeded his father as the Rav of Serdhali for more than thirty years. A disciple of Moron the Ketav Sofer, Rabbi Shlomo Kluger, Rabbi Avraham Schag and the Yeri'os Shlomo of Makova. Corresponded on Halacha with all Gedolei HaDor. Published his father's book. Eventually, his halachic responses were edited and printed in many books.
