African Tribal Art: Mossi People, Burkina Faso: Helmet Mask with Snake, late 19th/Early 20th Century. Extremely worn, patinated surface, incised with geometric designs, showing traces of pigments.
DIMENSIONS: 26" x 6.5" x 5.75"
PROVENANCE: Private collection.
CONDITION: Fair. aged condition with evidence of handling and use, including abrasions, pigment loss and a minor wood loss on the lower rim.
