GEORGE C. MARSHALL
(1880-1959) American general and statesman, Roosevelt's Army Chief of Staff during World War II and author of the Marshall Plan, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1953. Signed card in blue ink, the printed card reads 'WAR DEPARTMENT This Is My Autograph Chief Of Staff, U.S. Army'.
Double-matted with a 9 x 7 in. b/w photograph of Marshall in front of the Great Seal of the United States, overall size 17.25 x 12 in., ready to be framed.
