Historic Letter: Regulations of Kollel Galicia - the Gabbai of the Tzemach Tzaddik of Vizhnitz is Mentioned [Safed, c. 1880]
Important historic letter signed by Rabbi Tzvi Hirschman. The letter deals with Kollel Galicia and Bukovina and R' Tzvi added a 'letter by letter' - his words - copy of the kollel's regulations.
At the beginning of the letter, there is a copy of the 26 regulations for the arrangements of a society to support the poor of the Land of Israel who had ascended from Galicia and Bukovina to the Holy Land.
And on the final leaf is the body of the letter signed by its writer, Rabbi Tzvi Hirschman. In the margins of the letter, R' Tzvi sends regards Rabbi Moshe Brumer - loyal assistant and personal scribe of the first Admo"r and founder of the Vizhnitz dynasty, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager, author of Tzemach Tzaddik.
