Beit Yisrael - the first edition of the halachic (!) book by one of the leading Admo"rim of all generations, known as "the maggid of Kozhnitz" [in Yiddish: 'Der Kozhnitzer maggid'], Rabbi Yisrael Hopstein, disciple of 'the maggid of Mezeritch' and the 'Noam Elimelech, ' and teacher of the 'Yehudi HaKadosh' of Peshischa, the 'Me'or VaShemesh' and the 'Sar Shalom' of Belz.

* Volume II: Novellae on gemara/Rash"i/Tosafot on several tractates by the greatest among giants, bright in the sky ... the honorable Rabbi Yisrael, son of the late Rabbi Shabsi ztz"l, maggid meisharim of Kozhnitz. Warsaw, 1876. This book contains a continuation of the maggid of Kozhnitz's Talmudic novellae. In many copies, the printers added the part printed in 1864 (above). The copy before us contains only the new leaves that were printed in this edition. [2] 43-107, 32 cm. Stefansky, Chassidut 85. Owners' signature on the title page.
