Profoundly respected, R. Yechezkel Shraga was the eldest son of the Divrei Chaim - R. Chaim Halberstam of Sanz – and one of the foremost Chassidic leaders of his generation. Author of the Divrei Yechezkel, he was venerated for his subtlety of mind, diligence and pursuit of truth - as well as being a formidable ideological opponent to political Zionism.
