SA dagger with Partial Röhm inscriptionSeldom seen SA Dagger & Scabbard with a partially ground inscription from Ernst Röhm. Measuring 14 5/8” long overall, the obverse of the etched steel blade reads ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ with ‘In Herzlicher Freudschaft’ (In Cordial Comradeship) etched on the reverse. The ‘Ernst Rohm’ signature has been ground off as the 1934 regulations per Hitler and bears the maker’s mark of ‘Gerbruder Heller Schmalkalden’, and has their anchor logo in the center. It measures 1 5/16” wide by 8 9/16” long. Includes the early anodized scabbard with nickel fittings. Has a brown pair wood handle with the inset eagle and enameled ‘SA’ roundel emblem. Shows some use and minor corrosion on the blade. Overall Very Good condition
