JUDAICA - 3 JEWISH PENDANTS WITH MOSES PAINTED ENAMEL
Beautiful set of 3 different pendants with Jewish motifs: high quality handcrafted miniatures of Moses representation holding the tablets of the Law. The images are painted over enamel or porcelain in different colours and sadly one is shattered and almost gone. Others are in quite good condition. On the reverese there's a Jewish text in Hebrew. Dated XIX-XX centuries. 2 seems to have silver frames and other iron alloy frame.All are hand-made and belonged to Jews that probably lost their lives during the Holocaust, since all 3 were found during some digging works carried out in the vicinity of a former Jewish ghetto area in Poland. A great set of Jewish history in Europe.
