A gift from Rommel to Von Arnim. Silver hand-hammered flask featuring an African camel made with niello on the front and the inscription in German on the back: "To my dear v. Arnim for victory and always remember our special situation nothing worst than thirst. Toast Rommel. 24.12.1942" with Rommel's signature. German silver hallmarks: 925, 8. Weight: 10.5 oz., 298 g.
