BOER WAR PHOTO ALBUMS
Good pair of Boer War-date photo albums, each approx. 5.75 x 5.25 in., containing a total of 34 original photographs, most 3 in. square (sight), includes: brown cloth photo album containing 22 original images, notably including some group photographs of Boer soldiers in uniform, with images of various Boer workers and construction projects. WITH: gray cloth photo album containing 12 original images, notably including an image of two African men in some form of uniform, images of African woman carrying bags on their heads with Boer men watching from the background, and two images of African carriage drivers - one wearing a lavish feather hat, and the other wearing a horned helmet. The photographs within these albums, save one, have been inlaid into the pages. Slight foxing to the interior pages, some photos slightly silvered, else very good.
