ABRAHAM LINCOLN 'LIBERTY BONDS' POSTER
Original World War I 'Liberty Bonds' poster, 20 x 30 in, depicting a bronze plaque bearing the profile likeness of Abraham Lincoln beneath the exhortation 'Buy Liberty Bonds', and over his quote 'That Government of the People, by the People, for the People Shall Not Perish from the Earth'. A tiny publishing line at bottom right indicates that the poster was produced by the American Lithographic Co. of New York. Pin holes, one jagged fold at the top-right, reinforced with archival tape on the verso. 'Liberty bond' sticker affixed to the top edge of the verso, though this can likely be easily remedied. Very good condition.
