NSDAP-MARKED HOTEL CHINA PLATE BY NYMPHENBURG
White china dinner plate, 9.75 dia., the twelve-sided rim decorated with raised accents and a gilt and green palette, bearing the underglaze mark of the Nymphenburg porcelain manufactory on the base, as well as an blind-impressed shield mark. The base also bears the decal-applied eagle and swastika of the NSDAP, indicating that the piece was most likely utilized at a hotel which catered to Third Reich officials. Shows some soiling and slight wear, else very good.
