GENERAL MOROZ'S HIGH-RANKING SOVIET I.D. CARD
(1914 - 1993) Soviet military commander, pilot, and Hero of the USSR who made 117 sorties as deputy division commander of the 280th Bomber Division during World War II, and later served as a personal military consultant to Fidel Castro in Cuba. His ID card as a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus, 7.25 x 2.5 in. (open), bearing his portrait at the top left. Signed at the bottom left by KIRILL MAZUROV (1914 - 1989), Belarusian Soviet politician who served as the First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers from 1967 to 1978, and First Secretary of the Communist Party of Belarus from 1956 to 1965. Very good to fine.
