. Letter from Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Rimanov
Special printing of a letter written by the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Rimanov in 1812, expressing his sorrow at the spread of modern ideas in Am Yisrael, a phenomenon he believed aroused the jealousy of the nations against the Jews.
The date of this publication is unclear, but appears to be identical to a copy of the first edition (including typical printing errors).
General condition: Excellent. Slight tear, professionally restored.
The Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Rimanov (1745-1815) was a tremendous Torah scholar, renowned for his piety. Purportedly a reincarnation of the soul of the Rif. Rabbi Menachem Mendel was a disciple of the Maggid of Mezeritch, who introduced Chassidut to Poland.
