Rare sefer on the RaMBaM by R. Yosef Aryeh Leib Baum, who wrote it while he was learning at Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin. With approbations from R. Meir Schapiro and the Va’ad HaRuchni of the Yeshiva including R. Moshen’u of Boyan, R. Tzvi Aryeh Frommer of Kozhliekov, R. Nochum Weidenfeld of Domborov and R. Shlomo Eiger (Lubliner Rebbe). Also includes a rare approbation from R. Yaakov Shimon Schapiro, father of R. Meir Schapiro.
R. Yosef Baum was among the most eminent Talmidim of R. Meir Schapiro. He originated from the town of Ishbitza. Known as a brilliant Talmid Chochom, he was tragically murdered during the Holocaust.
With an autographed inscription by the author on the title page.
