A SOVIET PROPAGANDA POSTER BY MIKHAIL SOLOVIEV
Artist Mikhail Soloviev (1905–1990). "Otlichnoy rabotoy na kazhdom stanke vypolnim plan pyatiletki!" [“We will fulfill the five-year plan with excellent work on each machine”]. Moscow, 1953. Published by IZOGIZ. Circulation: 100,000 copies. Offset print on paper. The worker is shown behind the machine on an industrial background. The posters of Mikhail Soloviev in composition, perception of color and some narration resemble the technique of easel painting.
Dimensions: 21.75 x 32 in.
Condition: Good condition, with weak bends, tears. On the overleaf are traces of restoration, a seal with Chinese characters.
