English - Dated 1849 - 8.5" T x 5.5" W x 5.5" D This early Birth Bank is inscribed on its right side: "Mary Ann West, Ledge Green, Meriden, Warwickshire, October 1st 1849." Meriden lies between the bigger towns of Birmingham and Coventry. This is without question the finest Birth Bank we have ever had. Part of the Chimney and front door frame are missing.
