An English sterling silver Georgian coffee pot - London 1760, Samuel Courtauld
pear-shaped body with embossed spiral-fluted foliate decoration. A floral decorated cast spout and handle mountings. The hinged lid with matching decoration and a gadrooned border, surmounted with a cast finial. The pot still has it’s original fruitwood handle. All standing on an embossed, raised circular foot. Fully hallmarked London 1760-61, silversmith Samuel Courtauld. Height 29.5 cm, foot diameter 9,8 cm. Weight 971 gr. Item condition grading: **** good.
