19th c Oil on canvas depicting a Zouave soldier lying dead on a river bank. This is really a spectacular piece. Has had previous restoration back in 2015 and they note there was restoration prior to that. Has some slight cracking to the varnish but is in overall very good condition. Unsure the year it was painted, or the artist as there is no signature that can be found. Is framed in an oval frame. Measures approx. 24" tall x 27" wide. Items will be packed and shipped by our in-house shipping and shipped via USPS unless they are oversized, and they will be taken to the UPS store in Kendall Park, NJ.
