U.S. MANUFACTURING PROPAGANDA POSTERS (2)

Good pair of World War II War Ofiice posters related to wartime manufacturing during World War II, includes: full-color poster, 21 x 28 in., illustrated with three raised hands, gripping a rifle, a monkey wrench, and a crescent wrench, beneath the text: "Strong in the strength of the Lord we who fight in the people's cause will never stop until that cause is won." The publisher's line "U.S. Government Printing Office � 1942" and the designation "OWI No. 8" both appear at bottom. Folds, minor loss to the bottom-right corner, some tape reinforcement on the verso, else very good,WITH: Full-color poster, 22 x 28 in., showing an illustrated portrait of Uncle Sam with the title: "I need your skill in a WAR JOB!" The lower section bears a list of potential trades and encourages qualified individuals to contact the U.S. Employment Office. The publisher's line "U.S. Government Printing Office � 1943" and the designation "OWI No. 25" both appear at bottom. Folds, marginal tears and splits, with minor staining at bottom-left, else very good.
