Good lot of three Third Reich-era books on military subjects, includes: "Das Buch der deutschen Fluggeschichte" ("The Book of German Aviation History") by Peter Supf (Berlin: Verlagsanstalt Hermann Klemm AG), 1935, 640pp. 4to., a very well-illustrated chronicle of German aviation, with extensive focus on World War I combat aircraft and pilots. The final section discusses the resurgence of civil and military aviation under the NSDAP, which would spawn the Luftwaffe. Bears library stamps on the flyleaf and title page, with some soiling to the blue cloth boards, else very good. WITH: "Narvik: Sieg des Glaubens" ("Narvik: Victory of Faith"), by Werner Fantur (Berlin: Junker und Dunnhaupt Verlag), 1941, 174pp. 8vo., a propagandistic depiction of the battles for the strategic port of Narvik in northern Norway, well illustrated with photographs. The original dust jacket is present but shows a notable loss to the bottom edge, with additional wear and soiling overall, else very good. WITH: "Nauticus 1940: Jahrbook fur Deutschlands Seeinteressen" ("Yearbook of Germany's Sea Interests"), ed. Adm, V. Gottfried Hansen (Berlin: Verlag von E.S. Mittler & Sohn), 1940, 50pp. 408pp. 4to., an annual report on the naval and merchant fleets of Germany and other nations, well illustrated with photographs. Shows some splits to the binding at front and back, with some wear and minor bumps to the blue cloth boards, else very good. Three pieces.
