MAUTHAUSEN PRISONER''S DEATH CERTIFICATE AND DEATH NOTICE

Somber pair of materials related to the death of Mauthausen prisoner Marian Czypicki, includes: Partly-printed D.S., 1p. 8vo., Mauthausen, Jan. 23, 1943, his death certificate, stating that Czypicki, prisoner number 8613/1942, died on Dec. 25, 1942 at approximately 4PM. The certificate also states that Czypicki was Catholic and a lawyer, provides details about his relatives, and is signed at bottom by a registrar. His cause of death was not listed. Very good condition. WITH: T.L.S. to his wife Halina Czypicki from an SS-Untersturmfuhrer, 1p. oblong 8vo., Mauthausen, Feb. 5, 1943, responding to her previous letter (not present): "In response to your request, it is announced that your husband died without expressing any final wishes." Very good condition.
