LATVIAN SS GRENADIER'S SOLDBUCH
A rarely seen SS soldbuch issued to Latvian Janis Bekeris, a member of the 6/SS Freiwillingen Grenadier Rgt. 32. Born in 1925, Bekeris was issued this book on Sep. 22, 1944 and actively served until Feb. 3, 1945. He was hospitalized in Bad Harzburg in central Germany on Apr. 1, 1945 and then relocated on Apr. 9. A stamp on his medical record shows the man died at Bad Harzburg two days later, on Apr. 11, 1945. Covers a bit worn and soiled, as expected.
