Fine grouping of 32 signed items from German Knight's Cross recipients, all enclosed within document sleeves with a 13.5 x 12.5 in. black leather binder, some affixed to a black cardboard backing, others merely tucked inside. INCLUDES: Twelve signed letters and inscribed photo postcards from Knight's Cross recipients, all addressed to Gauleitung secretary LUISE LUDWIG (b. 1919), dated between 1943 and 1945, untranslated, signed by WILHELM POSTEL, MICHAEL POSSINGER, KONRAD KNABE, EDUARD METZ. RUDOLF GERHARDT, CARL RALL, LUDWIG RUDERER, HANS ZORN, WIDO TILMANN, KONRAD REHNITZ, JOHANN PONGRATZ, and ERICH FREIHERR VON SECKENDORF. Most include transmittal envelopes. Condition varies, generally very good. Sold with Ludwig's "reichspass" with photograph, issued on April 2, 1941 in Munich, as well as a typed letter from an unknown source, hand dated "Jan. 29, 1945" at top right, not translated.
