JULIUS BRAUN
(1895 - 1962) German general, commander of Artillery Regiment 115 at the outbreak of war in the invasion of Poland. He continued in that position in the attack on the west and in the Balkans, and into Russia. In mid-August 1943 he commanded the 4th Mountain Division on the Kuban, and was later deployed on the western front until the end of the war. A.L.S. on both sides of a 12mo. correspondence card, Landsberg, Nov. 17, 1960 in German.
