ANDREW CUNNINGHAM, 1ST VISCOUNT CUNNINGHAM OF HYNDHOPE
(1883 - 1963) Senior officer of the Royal Navy during the Second World War, widely known for commanding the first completely all-aircraft naval attack in history, the 1940 attack on Taranto. Signature on the reverse of a 5 x 3 in. card, sent to him by a collector requesting his autograph, signed: 'Cunningham of Hyndhope' in blue ink with added 'A.F'. Fine.
