ADOLF HEUSINGER
(1887 - 1982) German chief of operations of the Army High Command. Stood to the right of Hitler during the unsuccessful attempt on his life in 1944. Later became armed forces chairman for NATO. Brief T.L.S., 1p. oblong 8vo., [n.p.], Nov. 12, 1955, sending his autograph to an American soldier. Fine.
