(1889 - 1945) Fuhrer of Germany and Nazi Party leader, Hitler's bloody rise to power, his military seizure of most of Europe and North Africa and his genocidal racial policies culminated in suicide in his Berlin bunker as Russian troops approached. Typed D.S. on 'Im Namen des Reichs' letterhead, 2pp. large 4to., Berlin, Dec. 5, 1936, promoting many German servicemen including COLONEL LUDWIG KUBLER, Chief of Staff of Military District Command VII, to the position of commander of the Mountain Brigade. Kubler was later awarded the Knight's Cross for his actions commanding the 1st Mountain Division during the invasion of Poland in 1939. Boldly signed by Hitler on the verso, also countersigned by War Minister WERNER VON BLOMBERG (1878 � 1946) and Commander in Chief of the German Army WERNER VON FRITSCH (1880 - 1939). Folds, else fine.
