FULTON J. SHEEN
(1895 - 1979) Roman Catholic priest and bishop, author of sixty books, pastor of a radio and television congregation numbering 30 million. Sheen is now a candidate for canonization. T.L.S. on "Catholic University of America" letterhead, 1p. 4to., Washington, Sept. 19, 1940, thanking a George Buck of the Catholic Actors Guild for forwarding a check, signed at the conclusion in blue ink. Fine.
