(FORGERIES) KONRAD KUJAU AND GERD HEIDEMANN
Lot of three signed items by individuals directly associated with the infamous "Hitler Diaries", forgeries, 60 journals sold as being Hitler's discovered diaries to Stern magazine in 1983. Included is: KONRAD KUJAU (1938-2000), the creator of the forgeries, an S.P., 6 x 4 in, signed by Kujau who has also added one his poorly-executed forgeries of Hitler's hand and signature as well; GER HEIDEMANN, Stern reporter who sold the diaries to Stern, signature on his business card, and CHARLES HAMILTON (1913-1996), handwriting and autograph expert and auctioneer who was among the first to condemn the diaries, his book "The Hitler Diaries Fakes That Fooled the World", 212pp. 8vo., 1991, inscribed to a collector who assisted in the writing of the book. Three pieces.
