RICHARD M. NIXON
(1913 - 1994) 37th President of the United States, who reopened diplomatic ties with China and the USSR, resigned in 1974 due to the Watergate scandal. T.L.S. "Dick Nixon" on his personal letterhead, 1p. 4to., New York, March 7, 1966, a personal letter to a lady and her husband for their hospitality after Nixon's trip to Nashville. In part: "�Our visit to Nashville was a most pleasant one and your thoughtfulness�will always enhance our recollections of this memorable Lincoln Day celebration�" Unevenly toned towards the corners, else fine.
