PATRICIA NIXON
(1912 - 1993) First Lady, wife of Richard Nixon, 37th President of the United States. Lot of two signed items, includes: T.L.S. on "White House" letterhead, 1p. 4to., Washington, Jan. 25, 1969, sent to Mr. Jay Sarnoff of the Custom Couture clothing company, thanking the company for assistance with her Inaugural Day costume. Nixon signs at conclusion in black ink. Framed. Signature a bit faint, else fine. WITH: Signed photograph of Richard and Pat Nixon on his Inauguration Day, 7 x 8 in. color, mounted on white paperboard and signed beneath the photograph in blue ink, adding the dedication and inscription: "To Jeff and Barbara Sarnoff.With happy memories of the 1969 Inaugural Ceremony and the pleasure of the Sarnoff design." Totally sized: approx. 10.5 x 12.5 in. Minor staining throughout, else very good.
