JOHN F. KENNEDY
(1917 - 1963) Thirty-fifth President of the United States. Kennedy faced down the Kruschev during the Cuban Missile Crisis, re-invigorated NASA, and signed the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. Assassinated November 1963 by Lee Harvey Oswald. T.L.S. "John" on United States Senate, Committee on Labor and Public Welfare letterhead, Washington, March 23, 1953, expressing his willingness to send along a Congressional Directory for the 83rd Congress., signed at the conclusion in black ink. Kennedy's handwriting present on the verso, likely ink bleed-through from a separate document, else fine.
