HERBERT HOOVER
(1874 - 1964) 31st President of the United States whose attempts to reverse the course of the Great Depression led to his defeat at the polls by Franklin D. Roosevelt. Signed book "Our President Herbert Hoover" (New Milford, CT: William J. & Chas. Marsh), 1930. 45pp. 8vo. in gray boards. Hoover signs in black ink on the front flyleaf: "The Good Wishes of Herbert Hoover". Slight wear and uneven discoloration on the covers, else very good.
